New York tour group 纽约旅游团 highlight the best things to do in New York

New York tour group 纽约旅游团 will deal with all of your holiday needs when you visit the big apple. As well as the major attractions that cannot and will not be missed they will also introduce you to some of the lesser known attractions to make your vacation that little bit different. It will be wonderful and very memorable.

Where do you even start when trying to explain the attractions that New York has to offer. Well obviously, the Statue of Liberty will be mentioned, so we will get that one over with. The copper statue was a gift from the people of France to the people of the United States on October 28, 1886 and is magnificent due to its size and presence alone.

By no means are we going to be able to mention all of the things that there are to do but we will hopefully touch on some of the well-known ones some of the lesser well known and also throw out some things you may not have thought about seeing on your vacation.

The next on our list is Brooklyn Bridge Manhattan, it is renowned for being very romantic. Six hundred workers took to build it and it was completed in 1883, the designer actually died whilst it was under construction.

Chinatown is a site to behold and anywhere and everywhere you go is colorful and amazing. We love the Nom Wah Tea Parlor for its Dim Sum. It tends to be less crowded than the rest but then hidden gems often are.

Head over to the East Village and check out the Strand Book Store it is so typically New York and has books from as little as $1. It is the most loved indie bookstore in New York and was founded in 1927.

No trip to New York would be complete without a trip to Central Park. The latest craze is to Geo-Cache around the park. Apart from this it is an incredible and historical landmark.

Another New York tradition that has to be seen is a visit to the Comedy Cellar in Greenwich Village. It still gets visits from some legendary comedians but their visit is often unannounced.

The Forbidden Planet in East Village is the place for comic books and other crazy memorabilia.

When you need a rest pop over to Hammock Grove on Governors Island. 50 bright red hammocks adorn the landscape and it is so peaceful and tranquil that you will often find that your friends have fallen asleep.

Another fabulous Park worth a mention is Madison Square Park where the Summer months are full of musicians playing blues, jazz and Hill Billy Blue Grass music. If Jazz is your thing then why not head out to the Village Vanguard in West Village where you will hear the newest jazz sets around.

If you happen to be around when the annual Coney Island Mermaid Parade is on, to see it is to believe it make sure you catch the parade and mermaids of all ages, shapes sizes and genders. It is amazing.
