  • Al Mughsail beach 

Soft white sand beach surrounded by green trees is a wonderful sight to experience especially in the monsoons. 

  • Sultan Qaboos Mosque 

Pure White domes and minarets decked with golden colour designs attract the viewers. The mosque appears even more majestic with all the lanterns well-lit in the evenings. The mosque is a true reflection of the Omani Architecture. It is very easy to reach this place as it is located in the heart of the city. 

  • Taqah Castle 

This castle once housed the tribal leader of Oman. It is now the storehouse of the artefacts of those times and the things used by the royal families of Oman. If you want to enjoy a great sunset view at Oman, then you should go to Taqah Castle. 

  • Al Balid Archaeological Site 

This site is UNESCO Heritage Listed site. Some of the ruins found here date back to more than 2000 years. Every ancient treasure has a small board beside it describing the details. This is a must visit place for all the history buffs. 

  • Salalah Public Park

Salalah Public Park is a great place to hang out in the mornings and evenings. Thick bushy trees surround the place that covers up the entire area providing an amazing green space. There is a praying area, coffee shop, kids play area inside the park to cater to the needs of everyone in the family. Salalah Public park is the best choice to unwind the day. 

  • Ayn Razat

There are very few natural pools in the world. Ayn Razat is a natural pristine blue pool engulfed by steep rocks. It is a lovely spot for swimming and diving. It is indeed a different and nice experience to swim in natural pools rather than the artificial ones. 

  • Hawana Aqua Park 

Hawana Aqua Park is a water amusement park at Salalah. The rides are exciting as well as safe for the kids to have the best of their times at Salalah. One can easily spend more than 3 hours at this place. The park is maintained very cleanly adding to the hygiene factor. 

  • Museum of the Land of Frankincense

The artifacts which are more precious and needs more safety are placed inside this museum. The museum and Al Balid Archeological Park speak about the history of Land of Frankincense. 

All the main tourist attractions of Salalah are located very near to each other that you wouldn’t waste a lot of time driving around. It is one of the must-visit places and it fits everyone’s pocket.
